Theo tình huống bạn trình bày trên thì điều 7 của Pháp lệnh Quản lý thị trường hiện hành, quy định về chức năng nhiệm vụ của lực lượng quản lý thị trường như sau:
Lực lượng quản lý thị trường là lực lượng chuyên trách của Nhà nước thực hiện chức năng phòng, chống, xử lý các hành vi: kinh doanh hàng hóa nhập lậu; sản xuất, buôn bán hàng giả, hàng cấm, hàng hóa không rõ nguồn gốc xuất xứ; hành vi xâm phạm quyền sở hữu trí tuệ; hành vi vi phạm pháp luật về chất lượng, đo lường, giá, an toàn thực phẩm và gian lận thương mại; hành vi vi phạm pháp luật về bảo vệ quyền lợi người tiêu dùng.
Do đó, nếu có đủ cơ sở cho rằng tiệm tạp hóa bán hàng hóa không rõ xuất xứ nguồn gốc thì bạn cần trình báo đến cơ quan quản lý thị trường nơi tiệm tạp hóa đang kinh doanh để kiểm tra, xử lý theo thẩm quyền.
